Thursday night teardown @ Tater Shack Performance

It's not really a transplant, but she needed a rear main seal, so why not add a torque converter, right?!?!

It's a custom Dacco 9.5" single disk that should stall to about 4k on motor.

Hmmm thats what we always used to use at the tranny shop I worked at. They make good OEM converters.

the OEM's are ok but the "stalls" suck a$$ at least the ones I have seen did. maybe they got better in the last few years?

Thanks for the info!

The good thing is it is lifetime warranty. So, If is sucks ass, I'll just take it back and say it was awful/set up wrong. They agreed that if it was setup wrong, we can return it and either a) restall it or b) get our money back.

We will see.

We will see. Like i said, it's under warranty, it was a good price, and they agreed to let us return it if they missed the mark. So, other than the time of installing it and removing it if we have to, we don't really have anything to lose.
