Bought Tara a new truck.....

She had an 07' Expedition Eddie Bauer, and we bought a 2010 Expedition Limited last night. When we started talking about getting her a new SUV, there was no question that we wanted to go with another Expedition. We had driven Tahoes, Yukon Denalis, Escalades, Sequoias, etc, and none of them offered the same amenities and room for the money that the Expedition did. The 3rd row is what has really sold us on these trucks for the past 3 years, as the Expedition is the only one to have a flat floorboard underneath the 3rd row, so the rear passengers legs arent cramped from have the floorboard being almost even with the seat bottom. It also helps that we get x-plan pricing on Fords.

Anyways, took me a few days to find exactly what she wanted, but it turned out, our local dealership happened to get one in Monday. Perfect! So, off we went Monday night to look at it. Only a few minor changes from the 07' to the 10', but going from an Eddie Bauer to a Limited brought a few more changes. I'm finally starting to break this woman after 11 years. lol When we bought her 07', she didn't want to spend the money on a Limited, and specifically wanted an Eddie Bauer, but also didnt want things like navigation, sunroof, rear dvd, 20" wheels, etc., so that was tough finding one like that for her, but I did. Well, this time around, I told her it would just be easier to get one with every option offered, that way she wouldnt be second guessing herself, and maybe wanting one of those options later on......well....it worked. lol She even picked the optional damn color that cost more.....White Platinum Metallic.

Anyways, me being the nerd I am, I took some crappy pics of it this morning as she was leaving....she gave me stupid looks of course....oh well.....we've been together for 11 years now, she knows how stupid I am.

The thing has deployable running boards that keep catching me off guard when I open the doors. lol When I open the door to get in, and the running boards drop down, it looks and feels like they're going to take out my shins. lol

That's what we're hearing from everyone. We usually take our boys to PCB every year, but this year, we took them to Disney World right after they got outta school, and even though they loved it, we were still left missing the beach. So, needless to say, we're not gonna break tradition this year, and are heading back to PCB for the 5th year in a row. lol We love it there.

it looks AWESOME. the white looks great on it, and I am kinda surprised. I read white before I saw it. Not a color I woulda picked out until I saw it, and I don't think another color would look as good.

we looked at all the other colors on the limited, which were black, silver, ingot grey, and some kind of maroonish red, and none of them looked as good as the white.
